Construction on Circa Resort & Casino reaches halfway point

The upcoming Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas has reached the halfway mark on its 22-month construction process. The project, on track for a December 2020 opening, claims to be the first new ground-up gaming resort in historic downtown Las Vegas since 1980.

The 1.25-million-square-foot property will include 777 guestrooms; an outdoor pool amphitheater consisting of six rooftop pools and a food-and-beverage venue; a two-story casino with 1,350 slot machines and 49 table games; and a collection of original restaurants and bar venues.

The Circa Resort & Casino is not the first Las Vegas project its developer Derek Stevens has been involved in. He and his brother Greg Stevens’ investments include the D Las Vegas, Golden Gate Hotel & Casino and Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
