Los Angeles-based investment firm U.S. OCG selected Aimbridge Hospitality to manage three Marriott International-branded hotels in Indianapolis. The portfolio comprises the 315-room Indianapolis Marriott East, the 63-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Indianapolis East and the 121-room Delta Hotels by Marriott Indianapolis East.
“We have had a successful history of partnering with Interstate Hotels & Resorts and are eager for the strong results that the Aimbridge and Interstate merger will achieve for our hotel properties,” Ruilin Wang, director of business development at U.S. OCG, said.
The properties, which share a parking lot, are located roughly 15 minutes east of downtown Indianapolis. Together, they offer more than 93,000 square feet of meeting space, most of which is located within the Indianapolis Marriott East.
The Delta property recently underwent a full renovation, including a reflagging from La Quinta. Beginning in 2020, the other hotels will undergo renovations as well. The $21 million Marriott renovation will include a full-scale remodel of all guestrooms, public and meeting spaces, while the Fairfield Inn renovation will focus on refreshing all guestrooms.
U.S. OCG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chengdu, China-based Esong Group, focuses on real estate investment and owns six hotels across the United States.
Aimbridge Hospitality operates more than 1,400 hotels with more than 182,000 rooms across 49 states and 20 countries.
