Steve Rudnitsky, formerly the president/CEO of Wyndham Hotel Group, Dolce Hotels & Resorts and Miraval Group, joined WTS International as vice chairman of its board of directors. In his new position, Rudnitsky will assist the spa, wellness and lifestyle management firm and consultancy in executing its expansion plans, which include pursuing strategic add-on acquisitions (private equity firm CI Capital Partners recently made a significant investment in WTS).

“Gary and the WTS team have achieved remarkable growth and deservedly possess a leadership position in the spa and wellness services industry,” Rudnitsky said in a statement. “This will provide a strong foundation to pursue a number of strategic initiatives that we believe will lead to great success for WTS in the years to come.”

Most recently, Rudnitsky served as president/CEO of Miraval Group, where he oversaw its sale to Hyatt Hotels Corp. Before that, he led Dolce Hotels & Resorts as president/CEO and oversaw the sale of that company to Wyndham Worldwide. Before that held the same role at Wyndham Hotel Group and its predecessor Cendant Hotel Group.
