Marriott opens Australia’s first Element by Westin

Marriott International’s wellness-focused Element by Westin brand has arrived Down Under. The opening of the Element Melbourne Richmond, owned and developed by TRC (Aust), marks the debut of the brand in Australia.

The property is located in the new Botanicca Corporate Park on the banks of the Yarra River, six kilometers from Melbourne’s city center.

Designed by Melbourne architects Rothelowman, the property’s curved façade reflects the Yarra River. Oversize windows provide natural light and energy-saving LED lighting, CO2 sensors that monitor air quality and water-saving fixtures play into the brand’s eco-friendly philosophy.
