Following Accor’s acquisition of Atton Hotels in 2018, the company has finished transitioning the Atton Brickell Miami into the Novotel Miami Brickell. The rebranded hotel marks Notel Hotels, Suites & Resorts’ second in the United States, but its 520th worldwide.
“Novotel is a strong and innovative full-service hotel brand rooted in simplicity and modernity that is trusted worldwide and we are thrilled to be expanding the brand in North America, particularly Miami, which is an attractive destination and a key market for our business,” Heather McCrory, CEO for Accor North & Central America, said in a statement.
The 12-story hotel is still relatively new, having just opened in July 2016. It features 275 guestrooms and suites, 5,000 square feet of meeting and conference space and a rooftop swimming pool and bar. The hotel also offers its own restaurant, as well as a lobby bar. Accor said it expects to unveil new updates and brand programs at the hotel in the near future.
“The transition to the Novotel brand, defined by its multiservice offerings and energizing destination hotels, will better allow us to fulfill our discerning guests’ needs and cater to the spirit of today’s modern travelers—without altering the essence of what makes our property experience so special,” Claudia Di Gino, GM of Novotel Miami Brickell, said in a statement.
The Novotel Miami Brickell expands Accor’s presence in Miami. Its sister properties include the Pullman Miami Airport, SLS South Beach, SLS Brickell Hotel & Residences, Delano South Beach and Shore Club South Beach.
