Bromley Companies, with Concord Hospitality as its hotel development and management partner, will introduce a dual-branded Aloft and Element hotel in Tampa, Fla. With groundbreaking scheduled for this summer, Bromley expects the hotels to open in 2021.
The seven-story property will include both brands in the same building footprint, with each hotel keeping its own distinct look. They will share a rooftop lounge, central lobby and other hotel amenities, including dining venues. The building also will include 24,000 square feet of street-side retail, as well as meeting space on the seventh floor.
The property will feature Tampa’s first Element hotel. Accommodations at the 115-room hotel will offer fully equipped in-room kitchens, spa-inspired bathrooms and oversized closets. The Aloft hotel will provide 111 guestrooms.
The dual-branded hotel will be one part of Bromley’s $500 million mixed-use project Midtown Tampa. Already, the 22-acre development has announced it will include a Whole Foods Market, a True Food Kitchen, multifamily residential housing and a seven-story office tower.
