Choice opens first New Jersey Cambria

Choice Hotels International’s Cambria Hotels brand opened a new hotel in West Orange, N.J. The 127-room Cambria Hotel West Orange is the brand’s first hotel in New Jersey, and joins its growing portfolio in Northeastern cities, including New York and Philadelphia, with hotels in Boston and Portland, Maine, also in the pipeline.

The hotel is located within driving distance of the city of Newark, one of the nation’s major air, shipping and rail hubs.

“The Cambria Hotel West Orange sits in the heart of Essex County, financial center of New Jersey and home to major Fortune 500 companies like Prudential Financial, ADP and Dun & Bradstreet,” Janis Cannon, SVP, upscale brands at Choice Hotels, said in a statement. “This hotel underscores our commitment to expanding the brand in major urban markets and thriving corporate hubs, bringing business travelers the upscale lodging experience they want and deserve.”
